Updated: May 27

WHEN:

Monday 13/5/2024 between 19:00 -21:00 CET+1 (Cyprus time)

WHERE: Online

In this 2-hour workshop, specifically designed for young women with entrepreneurial aspirations, we will explore how to embrace difficult emotions and management techniques throughout the entrepreneurial journey. Participants will gain insights on transforming anxiety into motivation, reframing challenges as opportunities for growth. Practical strategies will be shared to help attendees embrace challenges positively, empowering them to leverage these experiences. The focus will be on discovering inspiration and adopting efficient methods to navigate pressures inherent in the competitive business environment.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS - https://ccs.org.cy/en,) is organising the Future Startup Founders online school for women within the context of the Start-Up Founders pillar of the Erasmus+ EU co-funded project Femme Forward (https://femmeforward.eu/ ).

The Future Start-up Founders programme aims to empower women participants to bring their tech start-up from a venture to life. It covers key principles for innovation, such as identifying market opportunities, developing a minimum viable product (MVP), and securing funding from investors.

The programme is delivered in 9 European countries by a consortium of experienced social value training providers and companies committed to changing the gender balance in tech and increasing the number of female founders. By providing inspiring role models, practical skills, and a robust support network, Femme Forward aspires to ignite a new wave of female tech professionals and entrepreneurs.

The Future Startup Founders online school in Cyprus will be offered free for all participating women and will run during evening hours (for 2-3 hours per session) from 3rd April 2024 to early June 2024. I will coordinate the program with Neofytos Xenofontos, Project Coordinator at CCS (cced).
